Commercial Marketing provides sales & cash flow solutions for innovative manufacturers in the hunting, shooting and law enforcement industries.
The Challenge
Commercial Marketing is a unique, thriving business. We were tasked with transitioning them from phone sales to web sales, and from outdated excel docs to online ordering systems. They needed highly complex business solutions such as deferred payments until ship-dates, which required deeply custom web app solutions. Commercial Marketing needed a well-defined identity in order to build a recognizable brand to grow their business as they added other manufacturers to their system.
The Approach

Beginning with a brand identity, we asked key questions to help them define “who we are” and “who we are not.” We tailor-fit a web platform to their needs according to their business model, 3rd party integrations, and the legal parameters of the firearm industry. We created a seamless experience from web to print, and have continued to maintain it over the course of years.
B2B Clarity
Commercial Marketing asked us to create a unique visual brand complete with brand icon and tagline: “Established influence. Proven Expertise.” Color scheme and collateral print materials were developed including business cards, trade show packets / folders, and more.

Customer Management. We created a custom user tier system with the ability to vary prices and privileges throughout the site based on user type.

Multi-Brand Solution. With a single sign-on system, we were able to create a multi-brand system giving our clients the ability to duplicate an entire site with brand specific colors, products, and details for the various clients they represent.

Deferred Payment Ordering System. The client does not charge customers upon ordering, which created a unique challenge. We built a web ordering app allowing for a fluid experience in all parts of their business model operation including their web ordering system.

3rd Party Integrations. We seamlessly incorporated MailChimp and Constant Contact communication systems, allowing user information to automatically populate these 3rd party accounts through API integrations for single-entry management.
3rd Party Integrations
We built a custom user approval system with different tiered users for easy operations management. We created MailChimp and Constant Contact automations allowing custom segments to be created and managed directly in WordPress for optimal marketing and record keeping needs.
Single Sign-On
We created a single sign-on system allowing the client to add additional brands with one, seamless checkout process for wholesale distributor management.
